Dear diary,
A quiet Saturday with one new story and several follow ups. Crusoe sold its unfinished Wyoming data center site to Google, which plans a $17 billion campus there. It links to my November 6 entry, when Microsoft was winding down AI capacity it rented from Oracle. In both, a big cloud company stepped away from renting an outside builder's capacity: Google, which Crusoe failed to sign as a customer, will build the campus itself. The money stories kept moving too, with Anthropic's IPO and OpenAI's funding round.
